The City Rings

We divided the mobi class in two groups and made a composition with the iSounds of the Oriol-Martorell school (Barcelona – Spain). We first listened to the sounds and we heard:
– turning with a neckless on a wooden table
– singing teakettle
– sharpening knives
The sounds were very nice and trilling, so we made two short compositions about “tension”.

This is how the first composition looks like on the computer.

We found some of the sounds quite scary on your compositions. You had a good mixture of sounds. Were you trying to make us scared because it’s almost Halloween?! Our teacher was terrified!

We liked the “bing” at the end of the second composition. Keep creating, let’s hear some more.

We’d love to hear more about how you made your sounds. Our compositions will be up tomorrow, looking forward to your comments!

We didn’t made the sounds. We used the iSounds from Barcelona (Spain)! You should to thank them.

  3. Aina, Laura and Jana Says:

We really like how you used our iSounds. We especially enjoyed your spooky compositions, because we hadn’t thought about those possibilities.
We hope to make good compositions with you iSounds, as well

Hi! We are four students from Barcelona. We really like your compositions. We think
they are very interesting, and we like to hear them . They make us feel a little scary,
because are low and in the end they are high pitched. They are like a soundtrack of a
scary movie! But it is nice for us to listen to our sounds on them. The workshop was
very amazing and we hope you listen to our compositions and we are looking forward to
reading your comments. Thanks for working with us. It’s been great to work together.

    Hi guys,

we’re some people from the Spanish school.

We like the mixtures you made with our sounds: they’re brilliant!
They’re like music from a scary movie: they make us feel a little bit anxious and insecure.
We hope you’ll comment our mixtures!

    See you soon!

I am really loving the theme/design of your website. Do you ever run inro any browser compatibility
issues? A number of my blog audience have complained about my
blog not operating correctly in Explorer but looks
great inn Opera. Do you have any advice to
    help fix this problem?

  8. Jurgen Says:

People should a) stop using explorer and b) update explorer if they insist on continue using it. Really. The browsers are the problem, not the design. We had issues as well with older browsers.
